See what has been happening at London 2012 this week …

Liz Johnson, Paralympic gold medal-winning swimmer, marks 500 days to go until the Paralympic Games by laying the final tile in the Aquatics Centre competition pool.

Construction continues to progress on the Aquatics Centre as the competition and diving pools, complete with movable floors, will now be filled with millions of litres of water.

Chris Holmes opened the All Ability Challenge Cup in Harlow this weekend to celebrate 500 days to go until the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The Lee Valley White Water Centre, the only brand new London 2012 venue that can be used and enjoyed by the public ahead of the Games, is now open.
