The BMX Circuit will host the Olympic BMX competition during the London 2012 Games.

New or existing: New. After the Games, the BMX Circuit will be reconfigured and form part of a new VeloPark.
Location: In the north of the Olympic Park

Before the Games

An internationally renowned BMX track designer will be appointed to the project and construction will start on site in spring 2011. It is due to be completed by summer 2011.

During the Games

The 400-metre BMX Circuit will be located next to the Velodrome in the north of the Olympic Park.

After the Games

After the Games, the BMX Circuit will be reconfigured to make it suitable for community use and the temporary seating removed. It will be joined by a new mountain bike track and road-cycle circuit, forming a VeloPark precinct for cyclists of all abilities, including cycling clubs.

The facility will be owned, funded and run by the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority
