London Olympic games 2012 is an event of a life time and Spin Palace likes our chances of winning. Play all your favourite casino games at www.spinpalace.co.uk

Today marks a 1,000 days since construction started on the Olympic Stadium. See the journey from day one to day 1,000 in photos.

Day one: the Olympic Stadium site is cleared and the piling machines are ready to get to work. Piling is a process where steel sheeting is pushed, vibrated and placed into the ground.

Day 500: construction on the Olympic Stadium bowl is complete and work continues on installing the cable-net roof.

Day 1,000: the Olympic Stadium bowl is finished, cable-net roof installed, lighting towers and seating in place. So much has been achieved but there is still more to do.

Construction of the venue is due to be completed by 27 July 2011, one year before the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games
